Patients who are too ill or frail may request a Home Visit during surgery hours. If you can get to the surgery please do so. The Facilities available at the surgery means the Doctor can make a better assessment of your problem.

Home visits are based on clinical need, thus if the visiting doctor feels you do not require a home visit, then the visit will be declined.

Not all problems require a home visit and it may be more appropriate to give advice over the phone on how to manage your condition.

To request a home visit please phone the surgery, the doctor will often call you back to ascertain the problem. Please phone as soon as you can as this allows the visiting doctor to make adequate provisions for the visit.
